Last Monday night for Family Home Evening we ate dinner with some friends...Louisiana Cajun Style! We ate shrimp, sausage, red potatoes, jambalaya and other spicy foods while watching the Olympics. It was so yummy!!! Just before we left their house they brought out a very large bag that contained hundreds of necklaces that came from New Orleans. And as you can see...my kids went CRAZY! We came home with quite the collection of necklaces...that are now hanging all over their rooms for decorations. Who knew that a simple necklace could make for hours of entertainment!!!

Cute & fun! We've been craving some good Lusiana cajun. I have a good jambalaya recipe. How did you cook the shrimp?

Rachel, for one of our anniversaries, we went & had cajun food. Stephen served in Louisana & loves hot, spicy, Cajun food. We were given necklaces & brought them home & yep our kids went nuts too!

Ya gotta love kids! They can come up with some fun no matter what. Things should be slowing down a bit soon -- when the kids get back in school, right? What are you going to do with all your extra time?

Things are boring at the Center today. And...that fact won't change until P-day on Sat. Your dad has read 3 books already this week. If I did that I'd have the headache of the century.
Keep postin' those cute pictures. We love them!
